GDPR and Data Rights

Effective date: April 3, 2026

This page summarizes how to exercise data protection rights in relation to PacketSafari.

PacketSafari is operated by Ripka Technologies S.L.

For the full service-level privacy description, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Rights You May Have

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing in some circumstances;
  • receive a portable copy of applicable personal data; and
  • complain to your local supervisory authority.

2. How To Make a Request

To make a privacy or data-rights request, contact us at contact@packetsafari.com or through support.

Please include enough information for us to identify your account or request context, such as:

  • the email address tied to your account;
  • the workspace or deployment involved, if relevant;
  • the right you want to exercise; and
  • any details that help us locate the data.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

3. Account, Upload, and Workspace Context

PacketSafari may process account data, packet captures, AI interaction data, support correspondence, security logs, and billing-related records.

If PacketSafari is deployed in a customer-managed or on-prem environment, the customer may control parts of the hosting, retention, access, or AI provider configuration. In those environments, some requests may need to be coordinated with the customer administrator.

4. Deletion and Retention

We will evaluate deletion and erasure requests in light of:

  • active account or service obligations;
  • security and fraud-prevention needs;
  • audit and logging obligations;
  • billing, tax, or legal retention requirements; and
  • backup and disaster recovery constraints.

Deletion of live account data does not always mean immediate deletion from logs, backups, or legally required records.

6. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled a privacy request appropriately, you may contact us first at contact@packetsafari.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
